Alone on a Friday Night? You Don't Have to Be! by The Average Guy
It's Friday night and you are home alone. You want to be out doing something, but you don't feel like going out alone and you don't feel like going to a bar. Where should you go on a Friday night by yourself? Well, it depends what you are looking for. But, I would say that if you are looking for other people that are alone and you want a date for the next week, then try these places for a hint of success.
Starbucks - Starbucks is relaxed and easy going. Go for one of those where you can get a CD and listen to the music. This will allow you to be around like minded people (alone and looking) and you will be approachable. Conversations are easy because you can always talk about music. Go to a Starbucks in the city, not the '˜burbs because there are more singles in the city than the '˜burbs.
Bookstores - Bookstores bring in all sorts of people and a lot of them are looking for books and other people. This is a lot like a Starbucks. Many Barnes and Noble stores sell coffee and CD's. This gives you all of the advantages of a Starbucks but with books.
Grocery store - You can't just go in to buy tomatoes. You have to go in with the clear goal to meet a guy. See your man and go after him. There are all sorts of things to talk about in the aisles.
Gym - If a guy is at the gym after 8:00 pm on Friday, then he doesn't have a date. Start talking to him and you may have a date that night.
Blockbuster - If a guy is walking around blockbuster alone, then he probably doesn't have a date. Ask him whether he has seen a particular movie. Just start talking. If he's interested, he will take the bait.
