Ladies, grab your guns! There are two types of guns. Well, there are really several, but we are going to say that there are two because it makes our article more interesting. The two types of guns are a shotgun and a rifle. The shotgun provides a scatter shot when fired and the rifle provides a single shot that if not properly aimed, will miss. The beauty of the shotgun is that you don't have to aim perfectly. You can pretty much just aim the gun in the general direction and pull the trigger and you going to hit something.
So, how does this work in the world of dating. Well, women should use a shot gun and not a rifle. You should aim wide and look to hit the greatest number of targets. You would be surprised at how well the shot gun approach works. If you go to a sports bar, are going to find men there. This is a classic shotgun place. Why? How can you miss? You are in guy heaven. There will be plenty of selection and you are not narrowed down to one person. But, a sports bar is a place where a guy will not be expected to be picked up. He will be there with his friends and his 'women game' will be in check. In other words, he will be relaxed and not trying to impress anybody.
A recent Men's Health survey showed the 68% of men will not go over and start a conversation with a woman even if they were convinced that the woman was their dream date. So, you have give the guy a little help. Smile at him. Start a conversation with him. Ask him about a player in the game. It doesn't matter what you talk about. The guy just wants to know that it is okay to talk to you.
Where else can you meet men? The mall is a great place. Think about going into a men's store. There are going to be an overwhelming majority of men. You go in and say that you are trying to buy a tie for your brother. This will allow you to talk to the guys working in the store or any of the customers because you can ask their opinion. There is nothing like walking up to a guy and saying, 'You dress well, what do you think of this shirt?' You've given him an opening to talk to you and a complement at the same time. If you don't see any men that you like, then just turn around walk out.
The point is that you want to do this over and over again. You can find guys everywhere. This is the classic shot gun approach. Shoot the gun and plan on hitting a lot. The grocery store is a great place. The gym is wide open. If you work in a big office building, then a lot of guys will be coming into work at the same time.
Most people have a hard time making the approach to a stranger. We are afraid of rejection. I have used the shot gun approach and it works. Just be prepared for rejection. I would say that 'I've been rejected by better.' The rejection doesn't matter because you are just getting one step closer to the person of your dreams and you are practicing shooting your gun!
