5 Self-Esteem Boosters Every Woman Needs This Christmas! by Tasha Cunningham
The holidays are here and whether you're single or attached this year, there are 5 self-esteem boosters that you're going to need in 2009 and best of all, they're all free! Check out our list!
1. A positive attitude - 2008 might not have been a banner year for you, but don't worry, you're not alone. With a tanking economy, a recession tittering on the brink of full-blown a depression and people losing their jobs everywhere you look, 2008 wasn't a particularly bright spot on anyone's calendar, but that's okay. 2009 is going to be your banner year and to prepare for it you're going to need a positive attitude. One of the best ways to get it is to be thankful when your natural instinct is to complain. For example, instead of bitching about a bossy co-worker, stop and remind yourself how lucky you are to have a job!
2. A hot body - Make 2009 the year you commit to getting in shape. Regular exercise is a fabulous elixir for boosting your self-esteem. Whether it's Pilates, yoga or cardio, commit to it, do it and enjoy the rewards that will come with having a hot, toned body.
3. Eat and be merry - Sure, almost all women hate diets. So in 2009, vow not to become a devotee of some new-fangled diet. Instead, eat what you want, but do it in moderation so that you won't pack on the pounds.
4. Compliment yourself - Make 2009 the year you dole out compliments to yourself constantly. If you're don't praise your fabulousness, who else will?
5. Ditch your down and out friends - If you've got a list of friends who put themselves down and are always negative, ditch them. Who needs the negativity? Certainly not you! You don't have time to waste on anything but positivity. – Tasha Cunningham
