Empower Yourself
The #1 Reason You Should Always Keep Your Cool in Relationships by Kerry L. Gray
Girls,
We all know we should not blow up at our man, we should not throw a temper tantrum and we should never scream and yell at him. Here is the number one reason you should always keep your cool. Sometimes these blow-ups occur in long-term relationships when it seems that he will not commit to the future and she is getting anxious feeling her time to marry and have children is slipping away.
Resentment builds up because she subconsciously feels like she never will get her white picket fence and the babies she dreams of. The resentment comes out as picking a fight over little things.
This is understandable, and most girls realize it takes the guys a little more time to bring marriage and kids into their vision for the future. Blowing up at him while he is contemplating the future is a sure-fire way to make him take a step back and reconsider creating that future with you.
No man wants a wife who will throw fits, scream and yell, issue ultimatums and try to run the show. In your long-term relationship, realize that it is long-term for a reason, (he does want you), and understand that subconsciously, when all is well, a man is slowly changing his mind and slowly coming to his decision (not yours) that he really does want to create a life together with you.
Can you imagine how he would feel if he were in the process of changing his mind and deciding that he can indeed envision marriage and having children with you?
Can you see what will happen to him if he is in that process of slowly changing his mind and you suddenly throw big fits over things that don't really matter? You would no doubt be sorry you had done that and wish you could take it back, so just don't do it in the first place.
Realize that your long-term guy is constantly changing and working his way toward a future with you. Do not set him back by throwing a temper tantrum over anything that can be avoided, and if you can't avoid a problem, at least talk it over calmly and rationally without showing girly emotion. When he pops the question and pulls out that ring, you will be glad you did!
