1. A romantic dinner goes a long way. You and your sweetie are very busy people, so make time this Valentine's Day for a romantic dinner. Whether you're cooking at home or heading out to a fancy restaurant, make sure you've got scented candles on the table, delicious chocolate treats for dessert and your favorite love songs soothing you in the background.
2. The unexpected is exciting - and fun. Do something out of the ordinary that your significant other will remember for months to come. If you never wear sexy red lingerie, today is the day. If you're a guy and you never, ever get your lady flowers, today would be a great day to surprise her.
3. Pretend you're in a romantic city. Granted, Fresno, California is no Paris, France, but you can still pretend you're in a romantic European city. Pick a French restaurant with authentic décor or music. Or pick an Italian restaurant that makes you feel like you're in Venice. Oh la la!
