What do Men Really Think About Valentine's Day? by DDHG Editorial Team

Do men love Valentine's Day as much as women do? Whether married or single, it seems men aren't too keen on Cupid; at least according to a website called TeamDating.com. The site recently polled 500 married men and 500 single men ages 25-40 years old. The results are eye-opening to say the least! Here's what the survey found:

For married men:
'¢ 91% said Valentine's Day was their least favorite holiday because of the anxiety caused by having to top whatever they did for their wife the previous year

'¢ 97% said that they plan what they are going to do the weekend before

'¢ 94% said that any money spent on this day is a waste of money

'¢ 72% said they plan on giving a gift certificate

For single guys:

'¢ 97% said it was their least favorite Holiday of the year

'¢ 99% said to them it's just another day

'¢ 86% said they will go out and try to find single girls that are out as well

'¢ 89% could not remember what they did the year before

'¢ And a staggering 93% didn't even know that it fell on February 14th every year

So what's a guy to do? First, remember Valentine's Day is about the romance for women. They just want to know that on one day of the year at least, you are capable of showing how much you care. Second, it doesn't have to be fancy; sometimes the words in a card mean more than a lavish dinner. So don't go spending boatloads of money on an expensive gift, when getting your sweetie something from your heart will make her swoon. And last, but not least, don't forget the flowers! Remember to send your honey a lovely boutique of her favorite flowers. You'll melt her heart and put her in a very amorous mood (hint, hint)! :)
