Dear Sonia and DDHG,

SONIA SAYS:
Dear Hoping to Find Love,
Recovering from a difficult relationship takes time. People with sociopathic tendencies have a tough time developing the skills necessary to be in a relationship in a healthy way....as you know. I am pretty sure that you have probably felt backed into a corner or like his issues were projected on to you. Not unusual.
So...first of all, be patient with yourself so that you can recover. When you do "get out there", go to places and go with people that you feel safe and comfortable with. Work on getting ok with you, not getting other people ok with you. This is your time and your life and it is too short to spend worrying about your next relationship.
Your next relationship is with yourself. Think about what you want, believe you can have it and be open to receiving it (that's from "The Secret" which is based on the law of attraction). Enjoy your new journey!
And...read my book...it will make you laugh! -- Sonia Torretto, sonia@MenShouldComeWithWarningLabels.com
