DDHG Confidential: Dash or Dine? by DDHG Confidential
I was dating a girl for about two months. We broke up and I started hang out with my guy friends a lot more than when I was dating her. The girls I found on the bar scene were not worthy of a relationship, so a friend of a friend decided she wanted to set me up with one of her girlfriends. I talked to the girl - I'll call her Mandy '" several times before the date. She sent me a photo of herself and she wasn't that bad. We made a date to visit a new restaurant in town. When I arrived, I walked through the door to find Mandy about ten feet away. She didn't see me, but I saw her and I didn't like what I was seeing. She had gained about twenty pounds since the photo she sent me was taken. I turned right back around and drove off, leaving her there. For the next several days, she called and e-mailed me, but I didn't return her calls. I do feel bad, but she should have sent me a current photo to save us both the hassle! -- Name Withheld, Las Vegas
