Do Nice Guys Always Finish Last? by The Average Guy

Even since I was a young man in my 20's, I have had a question for women. I simply asked them, 'Do I have to treat you badly for you to like me?'

The question would always illicit a strong response. They would go on and on telling me how they appreciated good guys. They said they liked guys that were attentive and courteous. It just wasn't true.

They liked guys that were dangerous, inattentive, and discourteous. One woman that was a corporate attorney for one of America's biggest companies actually told me she liked 'rough necks and thugs' that could take care of her. That did not describe me.

I found that as I got older, these women that I dated were looking for nice men. Did I change or did they?

I would say that they changed. It appeared that the attractiveness of a 'bad boy' lost its charm when women started thinking about settling down and looking for a man to be with on a long term basis. I believe that women start asking what kind of father the bad boy will be.

The charm of his always chasing after the bad boy or wondering where he is at 11:00 pm just doesn't do it for them anymore. The former 'cutest guy in the high school class' is still working for his dad at the gas station. As Paris Hilton might say, 'Bad isn't hot anymore.'

So, I want to leave you guys with a question. Why do you chase the bad guy? Why do you chase a guy that you know will only end up hurting you? Why do you leave the good guy on the sidelines? Do you think you can change the bad boy? What kind of guy do you deserve?

The problem is that many women will end up dating the bad boys and then when they do what he will always do, women end up putting them on this site. They leave the good guy standing with flowers and un-answered phone calls.

When selecting a man to date, ask yourself who you would rather be the father of your children. Ask yourself whether the bad boy antics will still be attractive in 10 years. Get a clue ladies? Pick a guy for the future, not today.
