How to Ask a Guy Out! by The Average Guy
Sometimes you have to take the bull by the horns. A guy may like you and he may even be interested in you, but he won't ask you out. I used to stare at my girlfriend across the room until one day she stared back. If she had asked me out then, we would have been together a lot earlier. So, how do you take the control?
Make sure this guy isn't in a relationship with someone. He might be married or he might be seeing someone. Find out for sure. Just because he's friendly doesn't mean he's available.
1. Gauge interest. Go up to the man and talk to him. You can start a conversation about anything. It really doesn't matter. If he's interested in you he will talk to you. Look into his eyes and see whether he looks back. You can feel whether there is a potential connection. I would have spoken to my girlfriend about Greek architecture if she had asked me.
2. Go beyond the fake conversation. Let's say you're at the grocery store. At first, you may go up to him and discuss whether the bananas were better last week or whether chicken is better than turkey. Then, start talking to him about what he likes to do or what he does or the weekends.
3. Ask him out. If the fake conversation and the real conversation go well, then ask him whether he'd like to get coffee sometime. Even if he doesn't drink coffee, he will say yes.
