So it's a new year and you've got one very important New Year's resolution '" attracting and keeping a great guy in your life. I know you're thinking that's easier said than done. After all, questions abound like, where do you look for a great guy? How do you get a great guy to notice you? Here are a few tips that will help you find your next great guy!
1. Stop wishing! Don't just sit around wishing a great guy will just magically appear before you. You've got to resolve to get out there and put some effort into finding a good man.
2. Decide what you want and WRITE IT DOWN. This is crucial to your search. If trust is important to you, write that down. If finding a guy who is physically fit is important to you, write that down on your list. Keep going, writing down as many things that are important to you in a mate that you can think of. Once you've written down everything you're looking for in a guy, you can begin to get a clearer picture of the man you are looking for and where you may be able to find that hottie.
3. Check yourself! You've got to present a package worth wanting when you hit the dating scene. Make sure you are emotionally ready for a relationship and have room in your life for it. Make sure you are not still reeling over your last break-up and can bring a new guy into your life and focus on him wholeheartedly. If you need to lose weight, hit the gym. If you've been dying to highlight your hair, now's the time to go for it. Get your heart and mind in shape to find that fabulous guy!
4. Confidence is sexy. Sheepish and shy? That's so yesterday! Today's women are confident, independent and know what they want in life and in a life mate. Exude confidence and you'll show perspective dates that you're not only secure, but independent as well.
5. Couch potatoes don't get hot guys. If you're simply sitting around hoping and praying God will send you a great guy, it's not going to work. You've got to put the time in. Get off the couch, get out there and be seen. Classes, lectures, happy hour, art galleries and the gym are all great places to run into great guys. You can't find one sitting around your house. Get out there and practice your flirting techniques, talking to a guy you've just met and looking fabulous!
