Whether they're afraid of divorce or just don't see the sense in making their unions officials, more and more couples are electing not to marry. According to a recent report of a U.S. Census Bureau survey married-couple households in the U.S. are now outnumbered. More than half '" 50.3 percent '" of all households are now headed by people who are unmarried, and 31.7 percent of children in America are being raised by parents who are unmarried.
