What's In Your Ice Cream?
The first case of an abortion pill spiked drink hit the newsstands recently when a man in Wisconsin spiked his pregnant girlfriend's Baskin and Robbins smoothie with an RU-486 pill. RU-486 was first approved in 2000 as an over the counter abortion pill used in early pregnancy to induce a miscarriage. The girlfriend, a doctor, watched from the car window as her boyfriend, also a doctor, ordered her smoothie then frantically stirred a pill into it before bringing it out to the car. Suspicious, she swabbed the drink and sent it to a lab, which showed that the drink was spiked with the drug. She suffered a miscarriage anyway, and a supply of the abortion pills was found in his home after police arrested him for first-degree attempted homicide of an unborn child. This case is the first of it's kind and has added fuel to the pro-life anti-abortion debate. Share your thoughts with Don't Date Him Girl on where you stand on the abortion pill question.
