Although I am a CB fan, it really upset me when I found out about the alleged incident. I do believe his sentence was appropiate and he was extremely lucky to get off with no jail time. And now 9 months after the incident, I think he has learned his lesson and perhaps he will be more cautious about some of the choices he makes. As I do believe he is sorry and regrets what he has done to Rihanna, I do not believe he will ever truely be able to understand the impact it had on her or how it made her feel. And while I am sure some provoking was done on Rihanna's part, abuse is NEVER ok and violence NEVER justifies anything. I think the whole sitution could have been avoiding if neither of them would have let their emotions cloud their judgement. I honestly hope the best for each of these artists and hopefully the media will be able to let go of the whole ordeal as well. It was a personal issue between the two and I can't image the hell they went through to finally distinguish the problem. Kudos to Rihanna for speaking out and inspiring the women to leave abusive relationships and help themselves.

Bull****....it is never never never ok for a man to hit a women. I don't care what Rihanna did to "egg" him. He has no excuse. He threw her out of the car! Men are generally physically stronger than women and have no excuse. If a man is angry to the point of being violent, he should be a man and walk away! Only a pus*@y strikes a woman! If he can't control himself, he is at fault not her! The only thing Rihanna can blame herself for is not getting out of the relationship earlier. "Hit me once, shame on you! Hit me twice, shame on me!

Yes. I believe his sentence is fair. Its not like Rihanna was an angel in this situation, the *** was egging him on asking to get beaten. When people are mad you do want to strike sometimes. Had she been COMPLETELY innocent in the situation, i believe he should have gotten a stronger sentence. Hate to say it but she probably deserved it
