Want Him Back?
Are you and your boyfriend broken up, but you realize you've made a mistake and you want to get back together? Here are three things you can do right now to get your boyfriend back.
1. If you're the one whose actions caused the end of the relationship, give your ex his space. Don't call or e-mail him for at least a week after your break up.
2. Once you've made it past the week mark, it's okay to reach out with just an e-mail, but don't rehash the issues that caused the break up. Simply ask him how he's doing and that you thought about him and wanted to see if he was okay. Nothing more or less in the e-mail. All you want to do at this point is show that you still care and that you are not going to bombard him with relationship drama.
3. When he answers you, don't answer him back for a day or so. If he calls you, don't pick up. This is the time when he wants to reach out to you, but it's important to show him that you, too, can move on with your life and be his "friend" while you're broken up. When you e-mail or call him back, chat like two friends. No talk of the relationship or problems. Remember, you've been apart for weeks now, so you should have a lot to talk about. This will build the bridge you need to start working on getting back together!
