| My ex wants to sue me after posting him on here. Everything I said about him is not only true, but I have text messages, emails, and people to back it all up. I know he won't get anywhere trying to sue the site, itself; but what are his chances of winning by sueing me? Any help or advice would be appreciated. |

He's just trying to intimidate you honey. You should tell him that truth is the absolute defense to slander or libel. He doesn't have a case if what you've said on here is true.

When you post things about people and they read them then you have to be willing to except the punishment. In all reality whether it is the truth or not what you posted it is the way that people post. There is nothing wrong with a tasteful post but some women just go crazy and talk about men with STD's and some of the stuff I read I wouldnt say about my enemy. Its one thing to warn other women but to defame someone that is not called for.

He can sue you, but that doesn't mean he will win. Stay strong... Lawyers will always take a case, but that doesn't mean they can win.

I would think that if you could sue people because of this site then the site wouldn't allow the postings? Just a thought, I am not an attorney. He's just upset that you exposed him.. Too bad!~

Actually, this site exists because the owner isn't responsible for the posting of men, nor does she edit the postings. BUT the people who DO the postings, most certainly CAN be sued. It is called liable and defamation of character...BUT...It is only true IF THEY CAN PROVE/DISPROVE the story.... (slander would be to verbally defame someone)

Guys hate this site and what else can they do except threaten to sue. Bullies count on silence from their victims. As I understand it telling the truth is not a crime. I can refer you to a website that has great information written by a Domestic Violence Advocate titled
