| So what is a girl to do when the man she spent 6 years with gave her herpes after cheating but denies that he did so? The relationship is over because he wouldn't commit after a painful revelation that he has slept around, denies he has herpes and they have gone their separate ways. How do you move on without thinking every day, that you would like to hang his B*** from the rear view mirror and he is carrying on like nothing ever happened? And he is spreading the virus as well? And what about the fact that he is a well known entertainer that all your friends (they are his as well) just see you as a bitter woman with a broken heart but they don't know about the Herpes because in telling them, you are also saying you have Herpes. What to do then??????? |

| There is nothing you can do but just move on. If other women are having sex with him without protection then it’s their problem. No one can give you a STD, as women you have to be responsible for your own bodies and stop sleeping with men without protection. You were in a relationship with him for 6 years and I’m sure you thought he was monogamous so I'm sorry for that. But as far as the other women, you can’t warn everyone. You have to do your best to move on and never look back |

It may be illegal for him to have not said anything. Especially in an on-going relationship.
According to some web sources - Their have been successful cases whereby the person with HIV was prosecuted for having knowingly passed it on. Do phone or visit your local STD clinic and they will advise you further.
Words of caution however, It may be very difficult to prove a certain person infected you without genetic sequencing of yours and their virus. It's expensive and I'm not even sure if it's done. Often times the courts will look at a case like this and not make a reward - as we all need to be responsible for protecting ourselves.
Also, it depends on if the disease is required to be reported to previous partners or the health dept. This is a state by state regulation so please check your local governmental agency for details.
lastly, post everything you know about this creep here and on peepsheet.com. If this jerk is still infecting others you should tell everyone you know and spread the word like he seems to be spreading the disease. Truth is on your side. |
