I feel like I need some kind of 12-step meeting, some kind of place to repeat the story of how insanely cruel the jerk was. I need to TALK...
I am, to another one of his conquests.. she and I were simultaneous with him!! GOD! But it's hard because little things we say to express our shock, pain, sadness.. can set the other off. So this is difficult to be there for each other.
I am trying to read healing material. AND educational: The Sociopath Next Door.
BUT... What are other people doing? How do YOU make it through a day at work after this kind of soul-rape?

Frankiicruz THAT WEB PAGE IS A CRACK UP! He looks like a little punk. These Sociopath's and Narcisisst's are NOT 'men' by any means, they're more affraid of the rest of the world. Knowledge is power and the more power you have the less these punks have. KUDOS on the webpage.

2yrBurn, Fre has some good advice. I too fell for someone that didn't even exist, they're sheep in wolves clothing. They're very good at hiding their true selves from you and they slowly reveal who they are as they gain more and more control. Then one day you find yourself wondering how the heck you got here. Thankfully now you have the knowledge and power, you should be able to spot this type of punk a mile away and run, run fast. Life is SO much better without their drama, enjoy it, you really lost nothing, you gained so much more by getting rid of him.

Go to groups for abused women, called ""womens space"", call the domestic violence hotline at 1-800-799-7233, talk to a counselor about how you are feeling, they are open 24 hours a day, they will also refer you to a ""womens space group in your area. Listen to what others say in the group, and you will find out that you are not alone.
