Is he joking about wearing my sexy outfit?

I am going out with a man - not seriously- for about a month or so. We go out about 2 times a week on average and have not have sex yet.

For Halloween I had a sexy outfit complete with panty hose. He loved it and complimented me on how I looked.

Sometime later, he asked how I thought it would look on him. At first I thought he was joking-now I'm not sure. I said, not good. He said well some women like that or something to that effect. I said nope not a good look.

Later when I was leaving, he said, you're not going to leave that outfit here for me? I said no, that's not going to happen.

I am a little weirded out by this. So do you think this was a joke or do you think he was serious.
