I am 5'9 and always had a very toned , but perfectly curvy body (I can say that now that it's gone!). Two years ago I had to go on migraine medication, which made me gain 40 pounds in 3 months. I can't even explain to you how impossible it is to lose weight when eating too much is not the problem- because then eating less does nothing. I am perfectly healthy- I can run a ten minute mile and I run 3 miles a day. I even tried a prescription weight loss pill and that only put my body in survival mode and I didn't lose anything, despite eating one meal a day. Right now I am a size 18 and I am considering liposuction to get the extra weight off. At 24 years old, guys don't care that I am pretty and successful- they just want a good piece of meat. I've also noticed that I have had to overcompensate since the weight gain, because so much less is expected of skinny girls- they just have to exist, while the rest of us have to stand on our heads to be noticed.

But I'm also sick of women bashing girls for being size 0. I am a size 0! And guess what, I do have a 32c natural chest and a butt. Some girls just have smaller hips. I'm also tall, so I don't put on wait as easily as a shorter person would. I've always been thin, but I still look good and eat very healthy. So don't assume all size 0's look the same, just like all size 8's don't look the same. =)

im naturally underweight (16.8 bmi) but wear a size 4/6.. and still look like a skeleton.. so im skinny.. and i can tell you, its not all its cracked up to be.. people think im shallow and i get accused all the time of having an eating disorder by complete strangers (people are so rude). i don't have one, never have.. and d*mn it i love food !
my suggestion is not to worry about your weight.. people are going to have their own ideas about you no matter what you look like.
if you really care about your appearance though - its your attitude, how you carry yourself that really matters. |
