but it's almost impossible to get because according to a lot of research I've seen on the Internet, the average woman in America is a size 12, but the average size of the women we see on TV and men see on TV every day is size 2.
I think men see these waif women on TV all the time and of course, they like these chicks because they're skinny and pretty and they kind of get it into their heads that this is what the ""ideal woman"" should look like. It's really not fair of a guy to expect a woman to live up to that standard. |

We all prefer different types.. And I AM the size 2, and guess what? Men have always told me I am too skinny, and to put some meat on my bones. We all have different tastes and we all have different preferences...

I'm a size 4 and I would never want to be a size 2 since I would have to get rid of my sexy curves. Not every guy wants a size 0, 2, 6, or 12. It depends on the guy and usually, the culture - some want skinny minnies, some want curvy wurvies, and some want big berthas! *Eek!*

My brother likes the big girls.. And I mean BIG..ALways has, since he was 12? My sister is a large woman, and her men seem to like the big women too. It's all in personal preferences.

No, Needlove, i dont think so, but i'm not quite sure, but i think that most men dont find skinny girls attractive. the girl has to look healthy, with some curves? Size 2 is way too small, and i dont think that guys wnat that. well, most of 'em dont. tell me what you think about it, tell me please if you think im wrong. I am actually size four and i wanna get fit, i want curves. what do you think about it?

There's a good chance I might be the oldest, or among the oldest women posting on this thread, but... 25 yrs ago, there was no such thing as size zero, 2 or 4... women's sizes began at a size 6. Most designers are men, and while men's clothing have always been simplified with waist/inseam, women have had to contend with variances depending on where the clothes were sewn. There's also the issue of 'vanity' sizing... sizing clothes gradually upward but keeping the smaller size tag to make a woman feel better about herself.

I'm a size 0/1, and I'm the ""high fashion"" model type. I've been told by strangers and close family that I should model. And my last boyfriend was always telling me to model. But, he was into girls who have large breast and butts. (He was russian and most russian girls are big up top.) He was always telling me that I was too skinny and that I had no tits. But I do have a nice chest (I'm a 32smallC!) and I do have a nice butt.

Are you fit (well conditioned, toned)? That is what men like, not size: fit-toned-well condtioned.

A lot of guys are shallow and only care about looks and if they can get some. Sorry but it isnt always looks, but if your desperate, guys sense that i guess, and will attack.

I can't even imagine why any woman would want to be so small without having been media brainwashed. Tv also adds pounds, so can you imagine how anorexic many must look ?
I genuinely like healhy size, find it is the most attractive. I stopped reading fashion mags a long time ago because I thought the propagating anorexia (nevermind ageism etc) was stupid, now I just find it all very boring. Beauty is something else to me. |

Oh yeah, and people always used to tell me that too. So I'm not speaking out of "jealousy". I just truly think the size question is so ultimately boring and truly disordered, there's nothing "beautiful" about that and I'm thankful the media hasn't been able to brainwash me there.
I'd just hope that more women would get out of that dull mindframe.
Don't burn your bra's, burn your fucking anorexic magazines !!!! |

that we're supposed to get from reading those anorexia mags like Glamour, Vanity Fair, etc. Those women almost never eat anything and usually don't feel very good about themselves. And you certainly should never let a man be the reason that you're losing weight or want to lose weight!

GUYS DONT KNOW SIZE!!!
remember that;
although that said, they DO notice (visual creatures, not so much numbers creatures) whether you're physically fit and toned, ie; "in shape."
Now you don't have to be some hardcore gym junkie with the tightest buns in the county; What I mean is that you are in moderate physical shape and look proportianate to your size; and everythings somewhat "in the right places."
ie; you can see your waistline, your bum doesnt hang to your knees, no double chin action... just HEALTHY.
It's not rocket science.
It's not about "being a size 2." (I honestly think this is what STOPS women from finding their healthy weight. Their blinded by numbers. And it gives us an easy excuse to give up since it's obviously "unattainable."
Stop whining and get out there and focus on YOU, noone else.
