Question:
I have been dating this guy for a couple of years. I know I shouldn't have but I went into his cell phone he left in my home and saw text messages from his ex girlfriend of 5 years ago.
She knew things about him and she asked him for money and told him to bring something to drink over to her house. I told him this girl called me and told me everything and he denies stating she does text him but the last time he spoke to her was in July. The text messages ask for money, gas money, oil for her car and the list goes on.
Why is this girl texting him asking him for help if he's with me and it' over. Something doesn't seem right.

Hey girl! Yes, something is very wrong! This girl is texting him because he's cheating on you with her. It's very obvious. It's unbelievable that he would deny it and make up a story when you confronted him with it! I say kick this loser to the curb as soon as you can!
You should not have gone through his cellphone, but if you suspected he was up to something, I can see why you did it, but it is a HUGE violation of his privacy. In the future, you need to find a guy who is trustworthy. But for now, leave this guy. He's absolutely seeing his ex. A girl doesn't ask a guy for gas money, etc. if they are not romantically involved. Get out of this relationship ASAP.
