Did David Letterman Do the Right Thing?
Dear DDHG,
I have been following the David Letterman story ever since it broke. I can't believe that he is an admitted cheater! It's horrible! Do you think he handled it the right way? It's almost like he made fun of it. What do you think?

Admitting that you've had an affair is painful. I think David was trying to find the humor in a very humiliating situation. He was more like a nervous person who laughs inappropriately to mask his nervousness. I don't think he should have cheated and apologizing to his wife on national TV is probably just the start of what he has to endure at home. I think he handled it the right way and could have chosen not to disclose this at all, which would have been well within his rights to do. - The Average Guy
