Guy Stuff: Don't Be a Player, Be a Great Guy to Date
If you are a player, girls might think you are fast and fun, but they do not want to date you for the long run. You can be a great guy
to date and still be cutting-edge and daring, fast, fun and interesting without being a player.
Players are usually liars. They string as many girls along as they can and try to score with as many as possible. They top it all off by bragging about it! Many nice and innocent girls lose their good reputation because a player takes advantage of them and then tells the whole world.
Be honest with the girls you date. If you are playing the field, say so! It will not hurt your chances with new girls to be honest about wanting to date a variety of wonderful women. In fact, girls will respect your honesty and want to date you even more! They will talk about you and tell their friends what an honest, good guy you are. That is the kind of reputation you want!
If something happens, do not tell all your friends and post it all over your MySpace and Facebook. There is an old saying, that "gentlemen do not kiss and tell" and it is true. Keep your lips zipped about past dates and old girlfriends. If you do tell your one or two closest homeboys, make sure they can keep your secrets. If you only tell one or two people and it hits the streets, you will know who spilled your private details.
Guard the girls in your circle of friends. If someone is bad mouthing a girl, tell them to knock it off. Do not be a silent witness to someone using or abusing any girl. At parties or in bars, keep an eye out for girls who are drinking too much or losing control.
Get them out of there and get them a ride home before something happens. Even if you are not dating a girl, do not watch one having trouble without stepping in to help. Make sure she is safe. You will quickly get a great reputation. You will be known as one of the good guys who all the girls want to date.
