Guy Stuff: Should I Let My Girlfriend Be Friends With Her Ex?
Dear Average Guy,
I've been in a relationship for about six months now. We're only dating each other and things have been okay until her ex popped into the picture. He's got a girlfriend now, but he wants to remain friends with my girlfriend. I am not comfortable with this at all.
They used to be engaged and lived together for about five years. My girlfriend seems to think its okay, but I don't think she would like it if I started being friends with any of my exes. Should I let this guy into our lives?

There's an easy way to solve this problem. Sure, let her be friends with the guy on one condition - you get to be friends with one of your exes. See what she says then. I think you're right that she's not going to like it and thus, will kill any thoughts of being friends with her ex. - The Average Guy
