Guy Stuff: Why Do Women Treat the Good Guys So Bad?
Dear DDHG,
I'm a decent, hardworking, handsome guy. But yet I can't seem to keep a relationship going longer than six months or so. It seems that most of the women who date me get bored and move on to someone who may not be so decent, but who wines and dines them to get their attention.
I may not be able to wine and dine every girl I date, but I'm kind, responsible and understanding - something most bad boys aren't. Is it just me or does it seem like women always treat good guys like dirt and bad boys like kings? Why is that?

Women do tend to love bad boys because of the adventure and excitement that he represents. Most women would rather hang out on the back of a bad boy's motorcycle than hang out at Starbucks sipping latte with the good guy.
Maybe it's James Bond, Tom Cruise or any one of a number of suave guys who are known for capturing women's hearts. Inevitably, bad boys are also break hearts, while good guys are more stable and caring in a relationship.
Don't get discouraged though. Not every woman is like this. There are many women out there who would appreciate a good guy like you. You just haven't found her yet. -- Rachel Grant
