Guy Stuff: Why I Don't Understand Women
Dear DDHG,
I'm a male member of DDHG and I've used the site to try and get some perspective on women and dating. My problem is with the women I date. They are all wonderful, smart women. But when we start dating, inevitably they do something that just makes no sense.
For example, my last girlfriend liked to "test" me. She would do things like not call for days, etc. and expect me to play into her game. When I didn't call her (because she wasn't calling me), she got mad. I just don't understand women and why they do stuff like this! Help!

Women "test" you because it's their way of affirming that you care about them. Sure, it makes no sense to us guys, but to them if you have the right reaction then you've passed their "test". You were supposed to call her a bunch of times even though she wasn't calling you. That way, you would have showed that you cared and that you were thinking about her. Try it next time and watch how well it works! -- The Average Guy
