Is Your Guy Still Hung Up on His Ex?
1. He can't stop talking about her. If you're with a guy who somehow finds a way to interject the name of his ex into nearly every conversation, it's a sign that he hasn't really moved on from her. You're too good to be some guy's stand-in, so it's best to bolt from this relationship while you can.
2. He's interested in the meaningless details of her life. If they've been broken up for a long time, don't have a kid together and otherwise have no reason to be in each other's lives, you've got a problem. If your guy still has an interest in his ex's life and tells you about the nauseating details of it, you've got a problem. For example, if your guy found out through the grapevine that his ex who he's been broken up with for years was selling her house and he's constantly online looking at it and telling you about it, this is a sign that something's up. What would reason would he have to be in her business like that if they didn't have a kid together or some other valid reason for wanting to know that information?
3. He's still in contact with her. If like I said before, your guy doesn't have a kid with his ex, but still talks to his ex ten times a day on the phone, e-mail or text message, he's definitely not over her.
