Should a 38-Year Old Married Man Have a MySpace Page?
Q. Dear DDHG,
I recently found out that my 38-year old husband, a father of two teenagers, has a MySpace page. A girlfriend of mine sent me a link to the page after her daughter, also a teenager, found it when she was on the site. I was appalled to see that he had over 90 friends, most of them female and many of them strippers from Vegas, Miami and Arizona. I have not yet confronted him because I just don't know what to do or say. I can't believe he's doing this. He's also using his real name. What should I do?
A. You're definitely going to have to confront him about this. Also, considering the fact that one of your girlfriend's daughters found the page, it's going to be difficult not to address the situation. Before you talk to him about it, make a list of the questions you want to ask him. Find out when he set up the page, whether he's having an affair with the "women" on this page, etc. This is not appropriate behavior for a married man and a father of two teenagers.
