Should You Hire a Private Investigator to Spy on Your Spouse?
Dear DDHG,
I suspect that my husband of two years is having an affair with a woman he works with. I'd rather know now that he's cheating on me than wait years from now to break off the marriage. If he's cheating, I want out! My question is - should I hire a private investigator to spy on my spouse or should I trust my gut and move on?

Before you call it quits on your marriage, you should get proof that your spouse is cheating on you. Hiring a private investigator is not a bad idea, but you've got to be committed to moving on in your marriage if it turns out he is cheating. If he's not cheating, then you can breathe a sigh of relief and keep the marriage intact.
Also, if it turns out he's been faithful, take some time to examine why you thought he was seeing another woman. Ask yourself if there things in your marriage that need to be worked on and do everything you can to fix them if you love your husband. -- Tasha Cunningham
