It can be a little thing but sometimes we girls will just not leave it alone. We nag and nag and turn a little disagreement into a really big fight.
Think twice before you do that because often the cost is simply not worth it. What if you started a fight so big and awful that it could not be fixed? Is that what you want in your relationship?
Are you the kind of girl who always has to be right? Do you boss your man around? Being a constant nag is a drag and can lead to an awful argument over a small thing. Who wants that? If you like to argue with your guy then rethink being in the relationship.
Love should be peaceful and calm most of the time. More important than being right is being on the same team. You should be on your man's side. If you are not then ask yourself why.
What can you do to cut down on the number of fights you have with your man? Leave the small things alone. Pick your battles. Decide what your bottom line is for his actions and only talk about those. Bite your tongue when he does all those little things that drive you crazy. He already has one mother and he does not want another.
You can either be his mother or his lover. You cannot be both. You help keep your romance alive when you act like a lover and a friend. When you nag and nag and pick fights with him then you become someone playing for the other team. No man wants to be at odds with his girlfriend unless it is really big and really important.
Ask yourself this famous question. If he were gone tomorrow, what would really matter to you?
Keep that in mind and keep on loving your man. You can keep your relationship fun, exciting and successful in the long run if you let the little things go.
Always remember that you are on the same team.
Treat your man with the respect, kindness and consideration that your best friend deserves.
