Why Some Guys Commit to One Woman and Not Another
Dear DDHG,
I feel horrible. I was dating my ex-boyfriend for over 5 years. I thought we were happy, but one day, out of the blue, he tells me that he was not happy at all and wanted to get out of the relationship. I was devastated, but I believe that you can't make a guy stay in a relationship that he doesn't want to be in.
We had been broken up for about 3 months and he started talking to me about getting back together and we started having sex again. To my horror, I found out he had a girlfriend - a girl he met at a nightclub and she was three months pregnant with his baby. He was also planning a wedding with her. I couldn't believe it!
I told him I wasn't having any part of his drama. But I'm still so hurt that he would break up with me and then just 3 months later, have a baby with another woman he barely knew. How is that possible? Why do guys do that?

Don't feel bad. You're in good company. Brad Pitt left Jennifer Aniston and had a baby with Angelina Jolie mere months after the breakup. It happens and there's no logical reason for it. In the case of your ex, he may not have purposely gotten Club Girl pregnant, but he did it and there's a baby on the way.
If I were you, I would be thankful that you no longer have to deal with your ex. He's Club Girl's problem now. Take a breather from relationships for a while and when you're ready, get back out there and find a guy who is worthy of someone as fabulous as you are! -The Average Guy
